Course overview
EMS drivers are 12 times more likely to be involved in a crash than police officers. Why? Because EMS drivers do not routinely retrain EVOC skills. This EVOC course provides instruction on critical driving skills necessary to maintain safe driving practices by ambulance operators. The course focuses on intersection negotiation with 30-minute lessons covering approaching, assessing, navigating and exiting an intersection.
