Physicians make consultations on patients frequently both formally and informally. It’s important to understand the differences in consultations and referral of care in the medical malpractice arena. This webinar will help the learner differentiate between the two and to identify the components necessary in developing policies on consultation. Case examples will be presented to help illustrate consultations verses referral.
