Appeals & Constraints

LHATF does not retaliate against anyone who submits an appeal against negative decisions on certification.  

Appeals should describe the concern and include any evidentiary documents, supporting facts, and the remedial action requested. All communications regarding the appeal will be handled via email.

The LHATF will consider the appeal concern, evidence, policies and procedures, electronic information collected, margin of human error, and other applicable materials when making a decision on the appeal. Appeal decisions will be communicated to the appellant within 30 business days of receipt.

Complaints and other submissions for opportunities for improvement (OFI) in the certification process are welcome. Submissions are accepted via email to the Certification Coordinator.

LHATF may or may not respond to the complaint. Complaints and OFI are reviewed by the Certification Program Coordinators for consideration. Documentation of the review and any actions taken are documented. Email appeals and complaints to: hslpcertification@lhatrustfunds.com.
