Join our discussion of professionalism in nursing by an expert skilled in training new nurses for the healthcare field. Strategies will be presented to help foster professionalism among nursing staff then analyze case studies to better understand professionalism through challenging interactions.

Robbie Stefanski, a nurse educator with a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University, has contributed to the field of nursing through a blend of academic and clinical expertise. With a career spanning over two decades, her role as an instructor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since 2005 highlights a deep commitment to nursing education. Her experience includes serving as the Director of the Nursing Professional Development Program for eight years, where she played a pivotal role in continuing education for community nurses and faculty development. Her clinical expertise in acute care nursing complements her academic pursuits, which has included clinical and didactic teaching as well as advancements in simulation education. This integration of hands-on clinical practice with innovative educational strategies underscores her dedication to advancing the nursing profession.
